Baby Im Back jjyeeaahh!

yes, yours truly is back from Batam Holiday.

I must say I didnt regret going.

Even though there are some disappointments,

I shall let Good memories stay...

and let me share the good memoirs I had.

13th Feb

Booked a cab to Harbourfront

Met up with the rest (Ibu Ju, husb n Faj, Bib cuz,

Kak mun cuz, Kak yan and parents)

Had breakfast at Banquet, and then

proceed to board the Ferry.

I have motion sickness and

so I popped panadol into my mouth, and sleep

with 2pm singing me to sleep :)

Reached Sekupang aft an hr or so.

Board the tour bus.

Met the cute tour guide.

He kept reminding us, not to be late on our last day in batam

He kept saying "Dont Let"

And he kept saying "Going back to THE Singapore"

So funny, but he was trying very hard. :P

So upon reaching the hotel (Planet Holiday), this caught my eye..

The chandelier...Pretty rite?

And this!

This is the Korean n Japanese Restaurant

This one is called BulGalBi. which is beef i tink.

Some food is halal, some are not.

Meaning, they sell pork as well, and they only assume

Chicken n Beef are halal.

So we decided not to eat here after all :(

But I cant stop staring at this. Its so ancient, within

a very modernised hotel.

The blue, red n yellow represents Korean flag :P

Okay, so, when we arrive, we are not allowed to check in yet,

Coz our room is still being made up (?)

So we went for lunch first at this seafood restaurant

Ratings: 2/5

Not many choices

But I must say the staff there can carry up to 20

plates n bowls ar one go!

They stacked them up nicely. LOL.

Okay lah, give 2.5/5

Maybe I dun eat seafood that much, especially this:

The squid is freaking big ah!

After lunch, we head to DC Mall

to shop. Things are cheap there.

Alot of Tudong, n muslimahs' clothings there,

Perfect for Ajummas of my moms age.

LOL.

Then we head back to the hotel with hands

full of bags with cheap products.

Happy n satisifed, we settled our rooms

And these are my roomates fot the 2 nights

Lil Sis, Me n Faj

Love her new pink ONTO headphones

bought at DC mall.

In Sg, they cost whooping 30 bucks,

but there she got them for 60k rupiah.

Which is less than freaking 10 bucks!

Hows that, talking abt Arbitrage Pricing

Our beds. And we have both shower n bath tub,

separately.

First thgs first, we checked the channel And guess

what?

THEY HAVE KBS CHANNEL!!!

Dont feel like going out at all!!

Haha!

We manage to watch 1 Night 2 Day on the second day!

we reach this awesome seafood place. Called

in SG. Copyright? I dun noe..

Service sucks, atmosphere also sucks.

We have to ask 3 glass of ice 3 times!

The last time i came here the service is better.

Bib thinks that the staff are adequately trained.

Maybe we just came on the wrong night.

We head back to the Hotel.

Parents went for supper/dessert at the hotel cafe

while kids and I order room service.

Quite cheap for room service

We had ice cream n waffle w ice cream

Yummy!

Oh yess, they have fireworks like everywhere

Right in my balcony view.

To celebrate CNY n V-day.

I took this picture all alone, and it was a disappointing

picture, coz I was in a rush

It was 1 am that time, and kids were asleep

See the white shadow on the left hand side of the pic?

I got scared of tt,

I just felt uneasy, so I just closed the door after that

n went to bed.

But that was it, I was just hoping it was

just my imagination.

14th Feb

Woke up early for breakfast.

Then went to this place where the makciks

bought some Jamu.

After which we went to DC Mall again.

this time, we went to the 2nd floor,

which is much better n more suitable for ppl

my age. :)

Then for lunch we had nasi padang at this

awesome place! Juz behind our hotel

Its veryclose to nature, and they have tables tt req

u to sit on the floor.

Very kampung, I like!

But we didnt sit on the floor though

They have some tables under a pondok, under a tree.

So cool!

Food was awesome! Incredibly awesome!

Service excellent! Atmosphere: not alot of ppl around.

Ratings: 6/5!

Haha.. Love tt place!

Next we went back to our hotel and watch

1N2D on KBS.

awesome!

Then went to NAGOYA HILL!

Went to Matahari, like Giant like tt.

Bought a pair of pants for 19 bucks sing dollars.

Cheap pe!

Good jeans i can get at Bugis is 3o bucks!

Had dinner at A&W's

Envy me people! we cant find this in SG no more!

I miss this!! OMG!

Went to the hotel cafe n hang out. ANd my dad came out

and sang WIDURI

on vday!

I really miss rafiq tt day

coz i saw couples celebrating V-day tt day

Not tt I celebrate V-day,

but our anniversary is on 15th feb.

:'(

And did I mention,, i dreamt of him being my hero

on the prev night.

Anyways, went back to our room for an early night as

I have an appointment the next day at MuStika ratu

15th Feb

Had breakfast and packed our things.

Took cab to..

Nice environment in there

The staff is very professional also.

Massage and facial on 2nd floor. while

Hair salon, medicure pedicure

downstairs on the 1st.

I had both facial n massage costing me only 42 bucks

in sing dollars.

I teared up during my facial session coz

she took out all the white heads n stuffs, so painful!

But very worth it

Then head back to the hotel

to check out and head to Sekupang in the hotel cab

Which they standardise to MERC car.

Bile nak naik Merc lagik?

And the instructions at Sekupang came in Korean

as well! Haha.

I can read but dun understand also.

LOL.

Hw to go Korea?!

Anyways, reach SG at ard 5.45 SG time.

Straight away I called Rafiq while im still somewhere

around Sentosa.

We had dinner at Prata house (?)

there at Harbourfront.

Head home in a cab

unpack n go to bed.

Real tiring but yet enjoyable.

I left some stuff there at the hotel, but the staffs

are keeping them for me.

If anyone's gg Batam, let me noe! I need them to be fetched

My $6 optical mouse in there

with some other stuffs!

Argh! SO careless of me!

K back to studying since I refuse to study at Batam.

Coz I need to relax too right?

Now enough rest, CHIONG now!
