    Hello ther..
    currently at work..

These two weekend was quite hectic for me.
Saturday, I visited my sick granddad at the hospital
Again? Yes, this time, kidney failure.
Lucky for me, when I visited him he was awake.
The prev days the doctors give him some medicine to make him
weak since they need to let toxins leave his body
Thats hw my atok sleep.. and thats hw my dad looks like while watching tv.
If I have a brother, he will be in the picture and I will caption it :"The 3 Shaiks"
    Unfortunately I dont.
But Im glad to be a Siti till today, and will be forever.
WTH am I crapping.. Side effect of studying i guess?

Hmm, Saturday nite mama had a lonely night, coz abah being a filial
son slept in the hospital to take care of atok. How sweet.
I think u deserve being taken care of in the future.
Insyaallah I will find all means to take care of u and mama like how
u both take care of me and Nana.

Then this morning i fetched abah at hospital with Mama, Ibu n Ayah
to have breakfast at Saffrons! Ouh... so nice.
Been 3 yrs since ive been there and whoa, Love the prata, man!
What surprised me was what abah told us
"Atok was asking abt HIS mother"
I dont want to think abt anythg else but I want him to get well.
He is strong enuf to live through Japanese Occupation
    and how harsh world is,
Im sure he can pull through Kidney failure

Suddenly I lost momentum blogging coz I suddenly miss my atok
    so much.
I feel tt I havent been a good granddaughter.

Please Allah, dun let him suffer any more.
    Please...

    Saturday, January 30, 2010 - 12:29 AM

    Hey..
wait! what am i doing up so late?
    Its friday night ppl..!

Everyones probably going out with their loved ones,
to clubs or just hang out at Marina Bay.

And here is Fazillah, gulping down 3 cans of Nescafe
studying Comparative Financial System and what not!
    So guai! Stop it!

My aim, is not to sleep and study as much as possible
at night. I study better after 12 when everyone sleeps and
ends the day. no one disturb me..

So im supposed to study rite? what am i doing nw? blogging?
igo meoya? (What is this-in korean)

I just wanna unwind for awhile..hehe..
or maybe coz i noe oppa is still roaming the streets
    of tampines with bestie. :)
Come home soon yeobo ya! So that I can study in peace.

Ugh, Redbull gave me tonsil ulcer last week,
im trying nescafe (sweet thgs may boost memory, and caffeine
keeps u alert). but it seems tt im sneezing. Uei? (why? in korean, again)

Bare with me people, I love to learn to speak Korean.
Hopefully after my major exams, I wanna take Korean classes.
    Yes..
Blaja arab tanak, blaja korean nak!
    Arab celop eh..? haha..
Despite having arab blood in me, I dont have a good r/ship
    with Lughah or arab language..
    We didnt click well..
Anjing is Kalbun as so I learnt.
    Haha..
But then again, Allah understands all language ryt?
    Korean included? heh..

kk im crapping, side effect of caffeine sipping into my bloodstream.

    Ciao!

    Annyeong~

    Thursday, January 14, 2010 - 8:51 PM

I hope its not too late for this entry.

Firstly, congratulations to all who receive their o'level results last Monday.
To those who perform like what they have expected, good for you.
Those who think they didn't its okay
but Im sorry, but u have to look forward now.

now, JC or Polytechnic or ITE.
I am aware of the discrimination about these three institutions.
Saying that JC is the best. so no matter what must go JC
N Poly is for average n ITE is It's The End.

    I beg to differ.
I might be from a JC, but let me tell u, I have
    20 for L1R5.
    2o damn it.
    Haha.

In my opinion, JC is defined as an institution that allow
candidates to take A'Level for two years, and have 90% chance
    into university.
    BUT! Yes theres a BUT!
you have to continue ur studies, like take
diploma or degree. coz in the economy A'level
    per se is nothing, zero.zilch!

JC is almost the same as secondary sch.
Same holidays, some structure and everythg. including UNIFORM!
When making decision about the institution you want to enter,
make sure u noe what u want in life.
If lets say, u are fickle minded like me,
if u can, enter JC and take the subjects u are good at.
If u noe what u want to do,
    go to POLY n specialise.
Lets say u like engineering, n u want to be an engineer,
    go specialise in it.

POLY is for individuals who wants to specialize early in what they wanna do.
Ive never been in Poly before, but I can see from my Poly frens,
they have alot of fun in there. It gives u a taste of Uni life,
being independent when needed, and being in a team in project work
Its more hands on if ur a practical person.

I noe only a small percentage of O'level candidates go to ITE.
but its not THE END though.
I really dont get discrimination against ITE though.
It's just a choice of long route.
Some say, the 'peer pressure' there is too strong.
What? haha, i might noe this, but i think, all schools
have bad influence. its how u manage it!

    Get me?

I miss school a lot. So enjoy every single day of it.
Dun dread when u have to study..

On that note, since i miss JC and especially TARIAN, i end this
entry with short videos of Kayangan Lestari

    Perjumpaan MLEP 2006.
Im the one on the most right. Starting of this vid, im moving
    forward. I love the costume.!

    This is at Tampines OLE
2007. Our SYF dance, which we got BRONZE
    pfft

    Lastly, Manifestasi. My fav dance..
In this vid, after throwing the white kain, im the one on far right
    Yes im the shortest!
    Yah..

    With that, peace out!

    Wednesday, January 13, 2010 - 8:36 PM

Sharks! My 'smartness' got the best of me!
I deleted the pictures when Bib,Farna, Shai, Ayu n I had lunch together yesterday!
    Ughh pandai nye aku!

Anyway, just a short one today.
yesterday my father n I and Ibu Wati visited a zakat recipient
I will not reveal who or what her/his problem is
but just wanna say that the experience was an eye-opener
Im actually thankful that I'm born to this world,
    with the current situation.

    Alhamdulillah!

    Wow really short! Haha.
    goodnight ppl!

    Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 7:19 PM

    Annyeong ha saeyo!
Remember yesterday I bought a packet of KIMCHI RAMEN.
Well guess what, I had them earlier today and it was
    GOOD!!!!!

    Take a look:

    Photobucket
I por hot water into the pot(?)
While it was still in the midst of boiling, I pour in the seasonings
    and the mee.
And this mee, I tell you, its thicker than Maggi mee.
Its hard to break them apart.
I should have broken them up first before putting them in.

After it boiled already, I put eggs in it.
I dont think usually they use eggs but, I LOVE my mee
    with eggs in them..

    Photobucket
Then I dashed some black pepper in it, to have that spicy-ness
Kimchi itself is abit spicy, but more sour than spicy
I've tasted Kimchi at SEOUL GRADEN before,
its nicer with beef bulgogi together.

Hmm anyway, i stir it for awhile and voila!
    Ready to eat!
YummY. It really help with my nasal block.
I was sniffing away eating this.

    Anyways, Im at work, (Library)
I dont think Mom set aside work for me.
Ust Ariani was shocked to see me here.
He was like "Saye tak tahu pulak awak kerja kat sini"
    Well, now u noe. LOL.
    Ape2 lah ustad.

SO im gonna study like some guai gerl.
    DO NOT DISTURB!

    p/s: I thought 2010 will be a different yr for us, but, I guess,there'll
be no improvement? Its just a number to u?

    xoxo

    - 1:03 PM

This is the 100th post. Haha, wee!
I never thought I would stay this long in this blog.
I think what inspired me was reading other blogs.
Some people can really arrange their thoughts in this space nicely,
    and in an orderly manner.

I guess, as we grow older, we tend to mature and expose ourselves
on how blogs shld be read.
Maybe if I were to start blogging when I was 12 it will be like:

Hello everybody! Haha, today so bored sia at home.
Shit tomoro sch seyy, bodoh! I hate the teacher, walau..

Or, if I were to blog about my outing or what:

Wah, very tired. Just went out to bla bla bla..
First we went to lepak at bla bla bla,
then HE was there sia, I cannot stop staring at him bla bla bla..
Then kene kacau with all those boys...
    BLA BLA BLA..

U get my drift? Probably, i will be stating all that had happened, like
EVERYTHG that happen. I mean nw i still do, but its a different feel.

One of my favourite blogs to read is http//:esqar.livejournal.com
She has a good sense of humour, i like her blogging style.
Unfortunately, she had moved baq to blogger, but her third entry
    was her last.
I think ive mentioned before that she is the friendliest blogger ive came across
She actually reply to ALL her commentors.
    I really mean ALL!
Haha. If ever i need a good laugh, I will read her blog.

So, Kartika, if ur reading this, Ive added u on MSN, do accept my invite.
Its really a pleasure knowing u, n i wish to be frens, u funny person.
    Haha..

    **********************************************************

On the other note, Im quite sick lately.
    I cant stop sneezing now.
So I think I better go rest now.
Meanwhile, enjoy my new playlist embedded above.
Its hot pink! Haha, and sorry the songs are all korean.
    Im hungry!

    xoxo

    Friday, January 8, 2010 - 6:46 PM

    Annyeong!
First of all, I would like to introduce this cutie,
    my roommate!

Baby!! My hamster! I love to disturb this cutie.
    It's a HE btw.
    I love watching him sleep

Look at this baby! He sleeps like a human being! Omg!

    Then suddenly...

Uh Oh! baby discovers me taking pic! haha.
He loves to layan me n my korean interests haha.
When I call him dongsaeng (Lil bro/sis) he stare blankly at me.
WHen I pout in front of his face, at times he will lick my lips.
    Oooh baby, notti ehk kau!
    Love that guy.

So today was a usual day...
    ..NOT!
My day suck, well to be specific in the beginning.
My stomach started to create problems in the morning.

    Ugh!

Reaching work, first thg, got a warning for my mistake done.
And my supervisor is abit kanchiong.
    Aish!

But after lunch, things lighten up coz my supervisor
    went on half day leave.
So I sat with Farna baby.
And i finished my work early, so I watched Big Show Big Bang concert
on her iTouch, while she watched Family Outing (with Rain)
    on mine.

    Thursday, January 7, 2010 - 6:09 PM

    Annyeonghasaeyo!

Oooh, guess what I had for lunch at work yesterday?

    KIMCHI RAMEN!!! WEEE!
    haha, no worries, Its Halal.
    Bought it at Cold storage.
This is thus the result of not knowing what to eat,
or just too full for lunch.
    Haha..

    Anyways,,had econs test today...
Haiz... even though Mr Manfred Ting did not mention
that it was not open-book, PeiLing and I helped ourselves
    with the notes.
Even so, it didnt help much.
I hope I pass *crossed finger*

Oh, remember I blogged abt my Stats Lecturer switched on a
    Korean song during break time?

    Araci!
    Aja Aja Hwaiting!

    Monday, January 4, 2010 - 8:06 PM

Every Monday and Thursday, without fail, I would have to travel along
Bukit Timah Rd on my way to school
And we all know that, that stretch of road has alot of big houses,
    bungalows, condos,villas and what not.

I couldnt help feeling jealous of those who live there,
those who can afford multiple cars, those who can spend at
Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo without feeling
    the pinch.

But then again, I think that I do not need to be envious of them.
It's what God gives them and maybe they deserve it better.
Maybe, if I was given that much wealth, I would become very
arrogant and may forget my roots. Probably the reason why I am
    what I am now.

Though I do not live in a condo unit, I am cozy enough to snuggle with my parents
and sister (not forgetting a hamster, LOL) into a decent 4 room flat.
I am thankful that at least my parents are still working and providing
for me and my sis. We co-habit as a family, as a team. And I am very content
    with what I have now.

"Money cant buy you happiness" is very cliche. Whats the use of wealth if u
have alot of enemies? Greed will get you nowhere. In Islam, we believe that
greed comes from Satan. Except for greed for knowledge.

    So to whoever u are,
just because ur whole family is civil servant, or govt worker,
it doesnt mean anythg. U are nobody to look down upon them like that.
Ape gune nye korg beragama, tapi tak respect org tua? I am really ashamed that
I noe of muslims/muslimahs behaving this way. I noe I am not a perfect muslim, but
one thg for sure I noe, my parents never teach me to use vulgarities on the elderly.
So what if ur 27? u act like a 7 year old. n to the brother of this 27 yr old, so what if ur a
    discipline master.
U ought to discipline urself first.
This family, ought to receive their karma one day. May Allah bless you.(NOT!)

    xoxo
