I did it. I have tendered my resignation.

My last day will be on the 15th Dec. Here's why I decide this:

1. Have u seen my sch timetable? Esp on Mondays? I had to squeeze in 3 lectures in one day

becoz of the new timetable system in sch. Haiz. Becoz of that I lack sleep and my commitment for work decrease. My Marginal Product of Labour just decreased. I didnt feel efficient.

2. I am going on a holiday for a week, And I wanna visit Korea with a peace mind, not having to worry my supervisor who is waiting for me to do sai kang job. heh. So yeah.

3. I wanna be able to study in the day and still earn money. How? TUITION! Thats why Im publishing n promoting my services. The respond? hmm, too early to say. Who knows, they might need me next yr. Meanwhile I still hv my weekend job. That way I can work at my own timings and most of the time work for myself. :)

4. speaking of sai kang, yes. Ive never ever gotten this kind of supervisor before. Press and push and pressurize as if the stress from sch isnt enough. -.- seryuzly. arent men supposed to be more laidback than women? hmm. No wonder..

Yes of coz Im gonna miss my frens at work so much :'( But hey I cld meet them for lunch and stuff. We are all Temp staff and eventually all of us will leave that place.

Im looking forward to my rest day till end of yr. But i aint looking forward to packing and leaving my frens at work. Sure Im gonna miss the ppl. :)

Here are a few facts we need to establish.

1-This case has nothing to do with staring.

2-Darren is also in a gang

3-The other gang already targeted Darren for a very long time.

4- Darren was also carrying a chopper.

So lets say The attackers are from gang A and darren and his friends are from gang B.

Gang B was at downtown east hanging around. GangA knew Darren is going to be there , that is why they are carrying choppers. And also because Darren's Gang(b) "claims" Downtown east as their territory.

GangA found Darren and his friend but they aim Darren alone because he is their main target. At first it was just a normal beating. Their intention was to teach Darren a lesson. Then some of Darrens gang members ran to call for backup and some of them ran to get weapons.

When the beating was over, GangA walked off. Darren went to grab his weapon and call his backups. They found GangA and Darren provoked them again, not knowing that all his friends actually dont have any weapon and all their rivals has weapon with them.

So he act hero, took out his weapon and shouted at them "LAI LA" then GangA also withdrew their weapons. When Darren's friend saw them with weapons, all of them ran.

Darren thought his friends would stay behind him and fight together but when he turn around, all of them already ran. Darren tried to run too but ended up hitting the glass and fall down, hence getting chopped.

After Darren was chopped, those attackers went to book a challet. The police tracked them down and raided their challet. One guy jumped from the 3rd floor and fall into a 1m deep swimming pool injuring himself (fail) while the others got caught.

From my source, Darren is the most guai lan in that group and always provoking others.

Do dont listen to all the crap the media is telling you. Like Darren being a good guy, that the incident was because of staring and all the other bullshit. I know which gangs Darren and the attackers belong to but i dont wish to disclose it.

I just have to rant this here : The murder of Darren, who got murdered because of a staring incident. Here's what I think.

1) staring? seriously? I dun get why people get too unhappy when they got stared at. It's something wrong with u, that's why u got stared. Check on urself, maybe ur fly is open.Or take it positively, ppl. Maybe the person who stares thinks ur cute. Why feel so insecure and get unhappy and MURDER that stare-rer. seryuzly grow up.

2) the victim and murderers are of younger generation. and some ppl born ard that yr, seryuzly mcm mintak kene tampar. ank step gerek mane. pls ah, the gangster days are over. at least the real gangsters. U wanna talk gangster, go to Europe or China. They are rich Mafias who make money out of crime. Thats gangster. not those who bring chopper everywhere and stab anyone who stares. Like (i have to say this) WTF? so childish. fine u want to be fanatic abt all these, but when u grow old, u'll laugh at urself for being such a waste. GET A LIFE.

3) to me, one of the safest place to enjoy with family is Downtown East. and to think of that poor guy lying there all bloody outside one of my fav restaurant, is really a turn off. People might be scared to go there. And i cant imagine the victim's family's sorrow. I dun think they can ever step into Downtown East anymore. :( My condolences to his family (and i heard he's the only son)

4) Who brings a freaking CHOPPER to downtown? seryuzly. I can accept fist fight (since they wanna be childish "oohh, u stare at me, i punch u") BUT CHOPPER? kau tukang masak ape?! ish. A friend say he must have motives to kill someone that night and this Darren guy happened to be his victim

5) I think kids these days are treated so leniently. I rememberd during relief teaching, the school made me sign a contract, somethg abt violence bla bla bla. These days, if a teaches pinch a tiny bit of the student's flesh, saappppp! COURT CASE. KNN. Abe kalau budak tu tak betol nak buat cam ne. When the kid complain to their parents, the parent not happy, complain to sch, sch scared of reputation, sack the poor teacher who merely teaches n do not have "violence" in mind. when i was in primary sch, my teacher can twist n turn my ears as long as they want, becoz i know what i did was wrong, n i deserve such punishment. I wldnt call it brutal. Brutal wld be "you! shut up and pay attention, or i'll shoot u " *machine gun in hand* THAT is brutal, bodoh.

And when i tell my parents abt my teacher twisting my right ear, i got the same treatment from my parents on the LEFT EAR. sorry to show off abit, but look at me now. what my teachers n parents did to me, painful or not, it taught me and I become someone who i wanted to : still a student majoring my fav subject.SOME teenagers feel that they are right in all kinds of way, and the rest of them ah wrong. I noe they are smart, but use ur brain to the useful thgs pls. ish

So what now? I cant stare at ppl (especially if I think someone is good looking) or else I'll get stabbed? not sure abt all that. but im sure it's gonna be a diff feel wen i step into downtown east.

..to update on my weekends. Not exactly weekend, but Thurs to Sun. Coz nothing in particular happened on Mondays to Weds. Well, u get my drift..

Shai came to have lunch with us!

So after work. Me and Bib zoomed to Singapore Expo to work at OISHII KUSHII! Fiqa tagged along. with her fren, whose name i forgot.

Thgs sold out fast. haha I love the plates. and somehow i wonder, where kak rozy get all these nice stuffs for the stall hehe

OMG! LIKE FINALLY I GOT TO SEE THEM HERE IN SINGAPORE.

i didnt get to see U Kiss perform n will not get to see B2st perform.

I saw DuJun! Like 10m away from me..

UKiss was so caring towards the fans. Worried that some may fall n get hurt and still

smile when they got scratched n have the fans' cameras shoved in their face.

The (cute) manager actually asked if the fans are okay.

Me and sis actually made cards for each of the seven members. and Nana managed

to give it to them. :)

On 11th June I met up with my clique in JC for dinner. It was to bid farewell to
our dear Natalie who is going to bali n then Australia for 6 mths. Woman! we gonna miss u kay...

So we dinnered at PASTAMANIA!

harlo people. Hard work from 9 to 3 just now, tired but still gonna upload yday pic. Me, boifey, parents n nana, together with sharmeela n kak ijan n fiance Abg Ahmad went to Johor to search for Gubahan n stuffs for my sis' wedding.

We search at Angsana first. I love Angsana!

Had late lunch at Marrybrown and having a lot of laughs. hahhaa, mama was so happy on
that day, and im just glad to see her laugh n smile :)

after surveying much, we cant help ourselves to...

So fun! But the flooring sucks, even some of the balls are cracked.
nonetheless, that didnt stop us from having lotsa fun n laughter.
Who says u need to be pro to play bowling? As long as u had fun, u dunnid skills ya know?
We werent pressure by being sandwiched by pros, we dun give a damn :) all in the name of FUN.

We went shopping and I bought an imitation of CROCS. Baby did too.

MADE IN CHINA n still Im still showing it off. LOL. RM25 wow!baby paid for them, thanks love!! haha.
Mama said "Ni nak sepasang ngan RAFIQ lah ni, kan?" HEH. Moms really know u best.

Gosh I stayed away from my lappie for quite sometime, but Im back now ppl!
Im here to update my weekends (long weekend btw)

VESAK DAY 28MAR10

I followed some staffs of Al-istiqamah Mosque to Batam,to visit
the orphanage there. And trust me, I had no idea they do have orphanage there.

We had lunch upon reaching Batam, then headed to the orphanage

Okay so Hafidz had his wisdom tooth extracted and didnt come. he said "I feel like im mensturating from his mouth. Diam eh hafidz! LOL.

Fafa n Nat n Nasir reached first, we met at Burger King. really being a long time, so we just wanna catch up.and i found out Nasir loves Lee Hyori. Still new, but loving korean girls. So i started recommending alot of girl groups to check out, but stopped to be fair to non-kpop lovers (I learnt this from Rafiq. LOL)

So we walked around velocity, n window shopped.

This is totally candid. Nat happily sat one corner waiting for one of us to turn.

i was looking for her coz i didnt want her to feel left out.LOL

thx Nat dear, that was really uncalled for. ^^

&& for the first time in my two yrs working there ard Novena, I play table soccer

Things to do (since exams are totally over):

- Change blogskin. I need a fresh look for my blog. Something new.

- Catch up with more Family Outing Season 2. I hate it when they dun have streaming videos

anymore.. Why?!!

- Learn more Korean language. Im not sure whether is it better to learn it off internet or really go

to the beginners course at CCs. I noe the basics, but I just need to learn sentence structuring.

- Shopping! I just bought a pair of sandals from Cotton On. for $10! omg, ubber sale. My feet are

just killing them shoes that I put on. every shoe just falls apart. && Im going to JB later at 3pm.

Yeay, without feeling guilty anymore.

Though exams are over, I felt an emptiness. Coz everytym i got home, i will study. Now, i had so much to catch up on, i have no idea where or how to start..

How time flies..im already halfway through my exams. Had PBF just now, and stats 1 n 2 tmr

and econs day after.. THEN... FREEDOM!!!

Funny thing happen at PBF exam just now. This stupid lady ( she is not young, like mid 40s like that taking her pte degree i think)

shouted across the hall (damn big expo hall). She shouted "hello" to the invigilators to get attention like she want to give birth. But only asking for paper to be slit under her table so that it is stabilised. Typical aunty. very attention seeking sia..

cant stand her.. really.

but she left exam early. and lucky she didnt do stupid stuff during exams. LOL

another funney think is that my feet muscle got cramp after like half an hr the exam started

i rly feet like shouting.n screaming. Ugh so irritating!! but i remember my mom's tips about how to recover it, i tried n succeeded. Hmm, mom's words never fail. the strongest words ever.

And PBF wasnt really a killer. its a bare pass for me i guess.

MY 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

It was really a blast yesterday nite. Though small, I enjoy every second I had yesterday with my loved ones.

It was totally uncalled for. I didnt want a celebration, having the fact that my exams are coming.

So yesterday night, at 8 I was in my living room studying like a geek, doing maths papers in my SHORTS. Suddenly, mama wore her tudong and went to the door. I was like "ma nak gi mane?" (where are u going?) She answered nowhere. I was lazy to layan her what i thought was her randomness, when Rafiq came in with a lighted cake, along with Bibah n Farhan behind him.

Thanks eh I was in my shorts lah halo! I was so surprised that I need mama to shake me into reality n asked me to change my pants. So this was the delicious cake..

They bought Rojak for dinner. No wonder lah my lil sis was like shouting "Ma, im hungry" yet mama didnt ask me to buy anythg from the shops downstairs. I totally didnt suspect anythg at all. except for the time when Bib suddenly called nana to ask if there were any cakes sold at hougang green, when I picked it up.. when i passed the phone to Nana, she went into the room n talked with her, so i thought "hmm a present from cousin bibah?" that was it. I didnt think as far as this

And boifey bought me GUCCI RUSH perfume (the perfume which turns heads) LOL inside joke.

and a pink teddy bear. so sweet of him :) thankiu! up to here, credits to Nana for taking pictures :)

And turning 21 isnt as big as i thought it wld be. It is just the same like any day. Just that u turn older. Or maybe becoz i dun feel like celebrating at all.

And being 21 isnt as easy as it is. There are more responsibility now than ever, and it will grow over time.. responsibility and Age have direct relationship when correlation coefficient is close to 1..okay ignore that sentence, some stats thing in my mind..

which reminds me.. i need to study now, Maths in a week time. ( n i havent gotten back my Maths Mock paper yet.. bleargh, next year ugh baru bagi!). oh ya, now im eligible for Auto roam.. now that im 21! ! ^^

But before I go, i wld like to thank Allah, for letting me live another yr on Earth, for lending a pair of great parents one wld ever have. For granting my wish to have a lovely younger sibling. For joining my paths with Rafiq's. to let me have alot of friends n cousins.

Im reeaaalllyyyyy pissed right now. It's been three weeks since I had my last prelim ppr
and i havent gotten my scripts yet! Damn bloody hell, how am i suppose

This is the second sunday that i have to be in sch for revisions. My cough is still rabak,
very dry. I left class early that friday, coz my running nose dominated me, n i wasnt concentrating
on PBF. So why stay when i have to be sick in the LT, wiping my nose with tissues like
every 5 minute. So i ended up sleeping at home straight after reaching home.

Alhamdulillah my running nose had stopped, its only the dry cough. Still able to attend class
today. Dad asked me to drive but i rejected, coz im scared i'll get lost. Who knows i might
end up in tuas!

Had my pay yday, alhamdulillah, it was abit more than what i usually get.
Becoz March was spent working rather than schooling because it was only
exam period. So i invested in fruity lite, vitamin c ( which is so vital right now! )
this mask from FREEMAN. Its the mask in a tube, liquid form n it will dry off
so that u can peel it off. For lunch yday, i had Arnold's downstairs, met up with
Mun Rafiq n Osman. Kechorable people, love their company.
Ouh n if u wanna wat arnold's n donate for a good cause, u can get the coupons from me
Donate 12 bucks n get one spring chicken one coleslaw n fries. Yummy!

Gtg now, buy myself some mineral water.

Khalis informed me that last night, Muhaimin, one of our good frens, got into a bike accident. He skidded n then got knocked down by a stupid lorry on his way home. All we can do now is pray for him, one of my morning frens back then in TPJC.

To the rest of my friends who are riding motorbikes, please please please be careful on the road. Other drivers out there, please lookout for riders. Let them overtake u, otherwise avoid driving near them. Becoz whether it is the rider's mistake or yours, they will end up in a dangerous situation. Imagine if it were to be your loved one..

Anyway after the much hooha abt min in the hospital, i started to have flashbacks abt when i was in JC.
I really miss bein ard my friends of all races, all those bitching with Hafidz, Natalie,Nasir n Fa..
I miss dragging ourselves to lectures but enjoying it with each oth's company..
I miss going to malay dance training, stretching n warming up while gossiping abt boys at the same time.
I miss staying in sch late with khalis for studying sessions in d library, or even late dance practices for performance
Or competition with Kayangan Lestari, cikgu azmi n cikgu ros.

Being the emohead i am nw, n while i still am, let me thank the above mentioned
People who made the 2 yrs of life meaningful n enjoyable. Tho short, i will remember

KIMCHI RAMYUN PART 2

안녕 여러분! (hello everyone!)

Last weekend, I cooked Kimchi Ramyun again, this time from a diff

brand n its 100% halal coz i bought it at JB's Giant

It's bigger than the normal Maggi mee
They are two season packets. the red one is the soup season

the green one is for garnishing
First, boil the water then pour in the seasonings
Stir well.. It smells nice too!
The noodles are bigger than the normal

maggi, so i had to break it partially

I added an egg, but have to stir constantly so that the egg wun settle on the bottom.

It will make it difficult to wash the pot later on.

honestly I love this kimchi ramyun better than the prev one, coz even after adding the egg,

i still taste the kimchi flavour.. n this ramyun has garnishing, which i thinks plays a part..

The other day, mom cooked this soup with quail's eggs, tofu n potato in it.

My creativity got the best of me, and becoz mom always sulked, saying that, she put alot

of effort in the dish yet nobody eats them. SO i put the eggs, potato n tofu in my kimchi ramen

And its super nice. yummy 맛있는.. shld do more of this..

It's been awhile.. I apologise for my long absence. Im preparing for my busy schedule full of revisions in April. And of course for my major exams in May.

Time flies and it is alrd April.

And without fail every year, we end the month of March by celebrating mama's birthday.

This yr, my family n I (four of us) celebrated Mama n Abah anniversary. 22 yrs.! woohoot.

We had family dinner at Sakura Thai-Chinese Cuisine( yes Thai Chinese like our Nichkhun)

Yummy tom yam mee soup..and Nana in front.

The food is delicious, perfect! 5/5.

Then on the 27th March, we celebrate Mama's birthday at JB's Singgah Selalu

Someone stole the credit of the cake, but all I want to see Mama's happiness so I don really wanna dwell on it. Me, Rafiq n Nana bought Mama Charles&Keith purse. She really shows that she liked it. Glad to see her reaction when opening it up.

We watched Evolusi KL Drift 2, I must say I am impressed with Aaron's acting.

Okay, enough blogging. I really dun wanna distract myself any further.

Yesterday I helped out at Oishii Kushii @ Expo's Halal Food exhibition

It was very crowded.! And we have good response. People who bought from us the day before yesterday came back to have more.

Even some are interested to noe where we are located. Some even though Kak rozy owned a restaurant.

And I broke my own record. I never thought that I have such strength to stand for 12 hrs straight,without food. Only with ice lemon tea that Rafiq bought for me. (awwww)

After the 12 hrs, I couldnt walk properly and had to lean on Nana while walking

Mom's currently out of town, so it is only me nana n dad for the whole weekend.

Which is kinda quiet n boring. With mama around, house is very kecoh.

Abah fetched me n nana from expo yesterday, and despite being tired, me n sis agreed to accompany abah to Simpang for dinner. I only drank a cup of teh tarik.

I havent had any appetite to even eat the burger boifey bought for me.. Aww.. he was worried seeing me not eat or not have any breaks in between. He even bought me a mini dress at a shop nearby (yes, Halal Food exhibition not only exhibit food, but carpet and baju..! Nak makan baju pe? makan carpet pon okay..crunchy u noe! LOL)

Despite being tired, I'm touched to see Kak Rozy's business soar this way, esp after Bib's n Cik Noi's face got featured in Berita Harian last Thursday! Im glad I was somehow part of it, to share the joy with my cousin. Im proud of Oishii Kushii, n im proud of Kak Rozy!

Its not fair for me.and since when did i make this house like a hotel? do i come home late at night? I came home almost puctually from home or school. i asked ur permission of i can come home early. I dun go out with frens anymore, because of u. I dun go out to town with my frens, coz i noe i have family, whom i can go to town with. U taught me all this, and u think it didnt get to me.

yes I yelled at u,. Im sorry. I went overboard, but just becuz of that u wanna treat me like this.

Why am i being treated this way ma, why? i thought i made u proud when i grad sch n didnt stop studying. i thought i listened to u by going to JC when i didnt consider it in the first place. dun deny it, i remember it clearly.why am i treated this way, when i help u to pay off my fees. and when i worry abt my fees at first u say "Dun worry, u have me n abah" and now u tell me "aku dah buang byk duit suro kau belaja" does it ever occur to u how hurt i was?

Do u noe whats my reason my continuing my studies? its u and abah. I want to pay both of u back. its a lifetime debt for me coz u both raised me up, though the journey may have hurt me.

Traditionally, the man goes out to find money, work etc, while the woman stays at home to breed.Its still going on right now, but there are a few changes. today the women have caught up with the men, and many successful women broke the traditional barrier.

Even the men, at certain circumstances choose to be house-husband if needed to. Why not? I respect these group of husbands. why? because apparently the men earn lower than the women. So women go out to work. Ive been feeling sick this morning and I skipped work today..

Me and Nana slacked at home like ikan paus.

For lunch, we had macdonalds'. NYAM!

And then at night, Me and nana cooked dinner,

we were totally inspired by the Korean reality show "Family Outing"

We had STEAK for dinner,!!

Mom and dad had beef, and me n nana Had chicken

Me n Sis bought BBQ sauce for the marinade and cabbage for decoration.

We bought coleslaw from Arnolds'. Ouh ya, all we had was the beef, so me n sis

bought chicken fillet from Shop n Save too.

next week, yupz..

And this weekend, Oishii Kushii will be participating in the food fair at Singapore Expo.

Tentatively will be helping out, but not sure yet. But, do come down n support my cousin okay!

Second post of the day

Just came back from Auntie Yam's house

(or shall i call it MANSION)

My granddad recovered and staying there.

Im so glad he is staying there, not just alone with the wife.

At least there will be real family taking care of him now

I actually brought my studying materials and lappie there

so i cn study. But little was done.

Coz I cant resist this guy

He is a friendly baby, but cant stay away from his grandad, my uncle.

We went for a walk that evening with Atok to take fresh air.

We went to the playground. No Atok didnt play the slides n swings, mind u.

Atok is so cute. There were lots of bicycles on the oncoming side

Ouh, when we were pulling his wheelchair backwards down some steps in

This is really frustrating.

Im totally freaking out, i feel myself crumbling ang falling apart.

despite staring at my PBF study guide for so long, I cant get it

in my head like how i used to.

I wish I never take PBF, but its all too late nw.

But MAYBE just MAYBE..
my family and I are planning to go to Seoul, South Korea
this December.
I really wanted to go to Jeju, Dongdawmun, Itaewon and the list goes on

Suddenly my mom ask me if I can read Korean.
I said I can, thx to Youtube.
If so, we might, just MIGHT, just go to Korea
without a tour guide.

I think my mom felt guilty coz i didnt get to
study in this university in Korea during the summer
vacation (which eventually i decided not to go either
coz its difficult to stay there one month without halal food.
and there is a diff b/w studying there AND having a vacation
there.)

I dun wanna get my hopes as high as the sky,
coz this is just planning.
Perhaps, this will be an inspiration for me
to work even harder for my exams.

My boifey must be fed up with me for always leaving him
to go overseas for holidays n vacations. N me without roaming
(till 28 April 2010!), is irritating, coz im uncontactable.

Someone really pissed the shit out of me today at work.

My supervisor not working today so i obtained permission from

my covering supervisor n Farna's Supervisor (lets call her YL. She is very nice okay.)

to sit with Farna.

Me n farna particularly dun like this person (i refuse to call her bitch here

coz i dun want to stoop to her level. n i dun wanna use real names becuz, i dun

wanna pollute my clean blog with her name. so lets call he Fridge kay? wic is wad we call

her at work)

This fridge sat one computer away from where I sat

on my left. (becuz she needs alot of space). while farna sat on my right.

(this is becoming so obvious, but heck care, ive been holding on to this hatred for

so long i need to let it out.)

The ever so wonderful YL, farna's supervisor, bought for the three

of us some cakes from Royals'

We are asked to give out among ourselves.

So Farna n I OBVIOUSLY took our share

and then I OBVIOUSLY place her (fridge's) share in between us

so tt she can take without the need to communicate

(somehow, behind her stupidity she jolly well knows

that I dun like her, n she doesnt either coz of some stupid childish

reason, n therefore there is no need to communicate)

At 5pm on the dot, she left

Baby Im Back jjyeeaahh!

yes, yours truly is back from Batam Holiday.

I must say I didnt regret going.

Even though there are some disappointments,

I shall let Good memories stay...

and let me share the good memoirs I had.

13th Feb

Booked a cab to Harbourfront

Met up with the rest (Ibu Ju, husb n Faj, Bib cuz,

Kak mun cuz, Kak yan and parents)

Had breakfast at Banquet, and then

proceed to board the Ferry.

I have motion sickness and

so I popped panadol into my mouth, and sleep

with 2pm singing me to sleep :)

Reached Sekupang aft an hr or so.

Board the tour bus.

Met the cute tour guide.

He kept reminding us, not to be late on our last day in batam

He kept saying "Dont Let"

And he kept saying "Going back to THE Singapore"

So funny, but he was trying very hard. :P

So upon reaching the hotel (Planet Holiday), this caught my eye..

The chandelier...Pretty rite?

And this!

This is the Korean n Japanese Restaurant

This one is called BulGalBi. which is beef i tink.

Some food is halal, some are not.

Meaning, they sell pork as well, and they only assume

Chicken n Beef are halal.

So we decided not to eat here after all :(

But I cant stop staring at this. Its so ancient, within

a very modernised hotel.

The blue, red n yellow represents Korean flag :P

Okay, so, when we arrive, we are not allowed to check in yet,

Coz our room is still being made up (?)

So we went for lunch first at this seafood restaurant

Not many choices

But I must say the staff there can carry up to 20

plates n bowls ar one go!

They stacked them up nicely. LOL.

Maybe I dun eat seafood that much, especially this:

After lunch, we head to DC Mall

to shop. Things are cheap there.

Alot of Tudong, n muslimahs' clothings there,

Perfect for Ajummas of my moms age.

Then we head back to the hotel with hands

full of bags with cheap products.

Happy n satisifed, we settled our rooms

but there she got them for 60k rupiah.

Then for lunch we had nasi padang at this

awesome place! Juz behind our hotel

Its veryclose to nature, and they have tables tt req

u to sit on the floor.

Very kampung, I like!

But we didnt sit on the floor though

They have some tables under a pondok, under a tree.

So cool!

Food was awesome! Incredibly awesome!

Service excellent! Atmosphere: not alot of ppl around.

Hey.. im here to update on my weekends.

So yesterday was Saturday and my whole family went to the hospital

to visit grandpa.

This time he look really cengkung and he visibly lost weight..

I didnt manage to take any pics of him, coz hes sleeping and

i was too busy admiring my sleeping grandpa.

And the hospital rules are really tight, but very smart.

4 visitors allowed for each patient.

those patients who are well enuff to get out of bed

went to the lobby to meet their relatives n frens.

I tink its good for them because, being stucked in hospital 24/7 is no good

They need fresh air..

But not for atok. His kidney failed on him and his body begin

rejecting food. Whats more painful is seeing him being fed with milk through a tube

down his nose into the digestive system. I nearly cried at the sight of this.

but remain strong.

When he woke up, i asked if he recognise me n Nana he smiled and nodded lightly.

I ask if im pretty he nodded lightly.

Aku rase this beloved old man of mine malas nak layan aku..! LOL

I didnt stay long near his bed as my grandaunt wanted to see him.

So mum, me n nana went to delifrance for sandwich.

These two weekend was quite hectic for me.

Saturday, I visited my sick granddad at the hospital

Again? Yes, this time, kidney failure.

Lucky for me, when I visited him he was awake.

The prev days the doctors give him some medicine to make him

weak since they need to let toxins leave his body

Thats hw my atok sleep.. and thats hw my dad looks like while watching tv.

If I have a brother, he will be in the picture and I will caption it :"The 3 Shaiks"

Unfortunately I dont.

But Im glad to be a Siti till today, and will be forever.

Hmm, Saturday nite mama had a lonely night, coz abah being a filial

son slept in the hospital to take care of atok.How sweet.

Yesterday was the opening day for
OISHII KUSHII!

Fyi, Oishii means delicious
and Kushii means Skewers
aka Satay!

I first came at around 12 noon to help out.
Promoting and stuff.
Along came boifey.. (without telling me that he is actually coming!)
and guess what he brought?

And a kinder bueno! The day before yday was my 71st monthsary.
I feel so loved that I was smiling from ear to ear
So all along, I was working hard, so enthu!
My motivation is the flowers.

Anyway, stall is still new.
Of course it needs some new stuffs, like labelling.
Thank God for McDonalds there.
Myself, boifey, lil sis n Bib cuz sat down to do some labellings
for the food display

I hope its not too late for this entry.

Firstly, congratulations to all who receive their o'level results last Monday.

To those who perform like what they have expected, good for you.

Those who think they didn't its okay

but Im sorry, but u have to look forward now.

now, JC or Polytechnic or ITE.

I am aware of the discrimination about these three institutions.

Saying that JC is the best. so no matter what must go JC

N Poly is for average n ITE is It's The End.

I beg to differ.

I might be from a JC, but let me tell u, I have

20 for L1R5.

2o damn it.

Haha.

In my opinion, JC is defined as an institution that allow

candidates to take A'Level for two years, and have 90% chance

into university.

BUT! Yes theres a BUT!

you have to continue ur studies, like take

diploma or degree. coz in the economy A'level

per se is nothing, zero.zilch!

JC is almost the same as secondary sch.

Same holidays, some structure and everythg. including UNIFORM!

When making decision about the institution you want to enter,

make sure u noe what u want in life.

If lets say, u are fickle minded like me,

if u can, enter JC and take the subjects u are good at.

If u noe what u want to do,

go to POLY n specialise.

Lets say u like engineering, n u want to be an engineer,

go specialise in it.

POLY is for individuals who wants to specialize early in what they wanna do.

Ive never been in Poly before, but I can see from my Poly frens,

they have alot of fun in there. It gives u a taste of Uni life,

being independent when needed, and being in a team in project work

Its more hands on if ur a practical person.

I noe only a small percentage of O'level candidates go to ITE.

but its not THE END though.

I really dont get discrimination against ITE though.

It's just a choice of long route.

Some say, the 'peer pressure' there is too strong.

What? haha, i might noe this, but i think, all schools

have bad influence. its how u manage it!

Get me?

I miss school a lot. So enjoy every single day of it.

Dun dread when u have to study..

Sharks! My 'smartness' got the best of me!

I deleted the pictures when Bib,Farna, Shai, Ayu n I had lunch together yesterday!

yesterday my father n I and Ibu Wati visited a zakat recipient

I will not reveal who or what her/his problem is

but just wanna say that the experience was an eye-opener

Im actually thankful that I'm born to this world,

with the current situation.

Remember yesterday I bought a packet of KIMCHI RAMEN.
Well guess what, I had them earlier today and it was
GOOD!!!!!

Take a look:

I por hot water into the pot(?)
While it was still in the midst of boiling, I pour in the seasonings
and the mee.
And this mee, I tell you, its thicker than Maggi mee.
Its hard to break them apart.
I should have broken them up first before putting them in.

After it boiled already, I put eggs in it.
I dont think usually they use eggs but, I LOVE my mee
with eggs in them..

Then I dashed some black pepper in it, to have that spicy-ness
Kimchi itself is abit spicy, but more sour than spicy
I've tasted Kimchi at SEOUL GRADEN before,
its nicer with beef bulgogi together.

Hmm anyway, i stir it for awhile and voila!
Ready to eat!
YummY. It really help with my nasal block.
I was sniffing away eating this.

Anyways, Im at work, (Library)
I dont think Mom set aside work for me.
Ust Ariani was shocked to see me here.
He was like "Saye tak tahu pulak awak kerja kat sini"
Well, now u noe. LOL.

Annyeong!! Gonna update abt my Saturday. Woke up at 10.30am to help Cuzzie Kak Rozy n Cuzz Bib with their newly open stall!There:

Rafiq(who surprised me. Gatal eh u, kata tanak dtg!;

Cuz Bibah;Cuzzie Kak Rozy (in purple tudong);

Nana in madrasah

Its not officially open yet. It will be open on the 16TH January Saturday. We helped to clean the stall. Which was infested with cockroaches! Omg! To me, I can face one only. But seeing alot of them scrambling around, I cannot tahan liao! Ish..

The name of the stall is Oishi Kushi.. I think that is how it is spelt.

The stall is so conveniently located among good food lah, Im impressed.

Old Chang kee as u can see.. Behind them is Jollibean, on their left is a fruit stall which

is surprisingly popular, and on the right is SWEET TALK! Omg..

Thx baby, for buying me Chocolate Ice Blended Double Pearl!!!! Yum! Masshisoyo!

First of all, I would like to introduce this cutie,

But after lunch, things lighten up coz my supervisor

on her iTouch, while she watched Family Outing (with Rain)

on mine.

And, tomorrow Im helping my cousin Kak Rozy with her new stall.

Every Monday and Thursday, without fail, I would have to travel along

Bukit Timah Rd on my way to school

And we all know that, that stretch of road has alot of big houses,

bungalows, condos,villas and what not.

I couldnt help feeling jealous of those who live there,

those who can afford multiple cars, those who can spend at

Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo without feeling

the pinch.

But then again, I think that I do not need to be envious of them.

It's what God gives them and maybe they deserve it better.

Maybe, if I was given that much wealth, I would become very

arrogant and may forget my roots. Probably the reason why I am

what I am now.

Though I do not live in a condo unit, I am cozy enough to snuggle with my parents

and sister (not forgetting a hamster, LOL) into a decent 4 room flat.

I am thankful that at least my parents are still working and providing

for me and my sis. We co-habit as a family, as a team. And I am very content

with what I have now.

"Money cant buy you happiness" is very cliche. Whats the use of wealth if u

have alot of enemies? Greed will get you nowhere. In Islam, we believe that

greed comes from Satan. Except for greed for knowledge.

So to whoever u are,

just because ur whole family is civil servant, or govt worker,

it doesnt mean anythg. U are nobody to look down upon them like that.

Ape gune nye korg beragama, tapi tak respect org tua? I am really ashamed that

I noe of muslims/muslimahs behaving this way. I noe I am not a perfect muslim, but

one thg for sure I noe, my parents never teach me to use vulgarities on the elderly.

So what if ur 27? u act like a 7 year old. n to the brother of this 27 yr old, so what if ur a

discipline master.

U ought to discipline urself first.

I just change my blog skin. All thx to lil sis.

Kids of her age are so smart in these codes,

n I feel so old.

I decide to change the skin to welcome the new year 2010.

Today is the last day of 2009, and also the last day of some of my

colleagues in IRAS.

Shai & I have some things in common. But her body size is so opposite of mine.

I feel too fat beside her. LOL. Gerl, must eat more okay?

Haha, despite the petite size, she is a rock-climber,mind you!

-Started school, like finally, after waiting for a year.

That's all in mind. But no matter how big or how small the obstacle is,

it never fail to make an impact in my life.

Here to update on my Xmas weekend in KL.
who? Family n myself, plus Cousin Bibah n Kak Munira.
Together with Ibu ju n Ayah Man, with Sabrina,Cik Junah n

25 Dec 09
4.30 am outta house. Fetch Bibah n Kak Mun from Tampines.
My car had space for them as Mom went to KL 2 days earlier
with her collegues.
I didn't drive coz Im scared of falling asleep. Dangerous highway!
We had our stop over at Machap n one more stop I cant remember the name.
Nothing much though..
We reach KL at noon. Its been awhile since Ive been there.

We check into Vistana Hotel, our all-time fav.

We heard that it underwent some renovation! cool!

Lobby toilet touching up.

While waiting for our room to be cleaned,

we went to have lunch nearby, n meet mama.
Room arrangement:
Room 411- Kak Mun, Bib, Me n Nana.(first night, Kak Mun slept over
at her friend's house in Selayang
Room 410- Mama n Abah (oooh!)
Room 409- The rest of them. Heh

Finally got our access card! wee!

The view form my room. So tak lawa. This is the bus/train interchange

btw. Like Pasir Ris.

We rested in our room. And we watched MKMF 2008 at Channel 8 (m'sian channel)

Guess what? They cut out the part where TOP kissed Hyori! Haha.

But they didnt cut out Lady Gaga's performance on AMA where she was

dressed like she's naked. I think the latter is much more erotic kan!

We only went out at night to go to Petaling Street.

I didnt shop much there, only for Oppa's stuffs.

I didnt take alot of pictures either! Haha. Had dinner n then went back

This day, we separated into 2 groups:

Parents: to Masjid Jamek (so not my place!)

The rest of us: to shopping Malls!

The parents gave us the complimentary breakfast, but

seryuzly we didnt enjoy it, except for the roti canai! Which was

made right in front of ur eyes!

After breakfast we proceeded with the plan.

Parents took the normal train while we took the Monorail

The station near our hotel is TITIWANGSA

Thx for the maid-like pose baybeh! Haha. I love her bag btw!

Can u see KLCC? We didnt manage to go there, didnt have time

Nana,cik Junah n sabrina.

We took the monorail to KL Sentral. Konon City Hall uh.

Tapi, City ke mane, Hall ke Mane! So not City Hall!

The platform is super long, macam leh smp Thailand, but

the train damn short.

Kite adelah confident tunggu jauh jauh konon confident

nak g last cabin.

But then, the train didnt stop in front of us.

I hate that line! Isshh!

But that was the only way to reach..

MID VALLEY MALL!

Punye lah mahal, I didnt buy much.

The moment we reach there, we saw..

BASKIN ROBBINS!!! The one with Big bang in their CF!

Haha.

We walked around somemore, and then.. we saw Face Shop

and...

KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT! haha.

Unfortunately it is non halal.

What I love abt being in m'sia is that everythg is halal

unless otherwise stated.

Ouh..and...

TBJ!! Korean's apparels. Its like Giordano.

so cute lah. I bought a top-mini dress. haha.

Since we cannot eat the Korean BBQ, we settled for..

Sushi King.. haha. My first sushi on conveyor belt. cool!

First sushi that I ate with raw fish.. Not bad lah..

I cant stand it, so i ordered my Corn sushi n egg mayo sushi.

i tried raw salmon too..

We met kak Mun n fren there at Sushi King.

Bibah followed them to Wan Utama, by car.

then the rest of us proceed to BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE!

All time fav Mall.

So big, wide variety, cheap cheap cheap!!

When we reach Times Square, we decided to watch a movie.

The theme is something cartoon or cute kiddy stuff lah

We wanted Alvin n Chipmunks 2, but seat was separated.

We settled for Princess and Frog.

Sabrina LOLed in the movie. She is so cute lah..

So we walked ard while waiting for the movie

N then aku nye gatal, I suggested Fish Spa!

Tell me this isnt freaky! I was the only one who dipped my feet in!

OMG sungguh geli tak bedek!

That was my second time actually.

I went previously with my colleagues, but baq then was the four of us

So not many fish on each of us. ohmeegod! Geli sey.

After

The lovely sabrina. She was so malu at first.

But we bonded. So pretty lah this gerl, n chubby too.

I feel like biting her cheeks off!

Haha.

We went baq to our hotel after that. Mom bought us food,after which we slept

This time we didnt have the complimentary breakfast.

We had normal by the road food.

We separated again to go to Berjaya, while parents went to Mydin again.

This time, I bought quite afew stuff.

Like brooch (from korea :)) then, a sling bag,

a pair of leggings.

:)and! They have this shop where all the Korean celebrities' merchandise

are sold! They even sell things which can n cannot be found in Comics

Connection.

They have BIG BANG hoodie!!!! Sold at RM280!

cool eh? haha.

After final shopping we met at the hotel, checked out

and drive off.

We stopped at Air Keroh, for another round of Baskin Robbins

Mango, Chocolate n Choc Chips, shared.

We drove straight to Johor to have dinner at LC Cathering.

Fav place. hehe.

I drove home from there.

Let abah sleep :)

Hate driving through the jam, and having mama presurring

beside me.

So that was all for my XmAS weekend. :)

him in KL.Luckily he liked it :)

Then Mama asked to buy her inhaler, so we went down.

This boy of mine, has a new hobby.. KITE FLYING!

I find that kinda cute.

So we went to Hougang green to find kites.

And these days, the Kites are so easy to fly.

Firstly, they now sell ready-made kites in plastic

or even canvas

Oppa saw this batman kite, and bought it.

So happy that he decided to show it off to me,

right at the foot of my block!

Yes, with trees.

And i think my neighbour on level 2 saw us.

I was lucky they didnt throw eggs at us.

Let's update on my weekends.. yippee!

15 Dec was my anniversary. (okay i noe its not the weekend.LOL)

ermm. 5y 10mths.

Full of ups n downs with oppa. heh. :)

yes we still celebrate monthsary ryt dear? every 15 is

a significant date for us both.

Something happened at work on that day as well.

My colleague Fauzy(is that how its spelled?) I have no idea how to spell

coz I rarely talk to him. The only time I see him at work was when he was visiting

my teammates.

Shaliz and Fahmy quitting too, but not on the same day.

So these three people treated us CANADIAN PIZZA for lunch!

Wee... Kamsahamnida korang!

And then..jeng jeng jeng

We had fire drill on the same day.

Really unexpected really.

At 3.20pm we had to evacuate the building to assemble

at Novena Church (!) opposite

Farna and me

The one with the sticking tongue is Shaliz (thx eh tak perlu)

It was freaking hot eh thx.

Haha.. but at least we get to take our mind of work for awhile

Shaliz and Fahmy left on the 18th.

Tho Fahmy sat beside me at work, we rarely talk.

But on his last day, I talked to him, most of the time joking lah

The whole team seemed to talk alot on that day as well.

We felt bad for them leaving us, but we managed to get them

and we instantaneously thought of him

Now we talk about the weekend.

Yesterday I was forced by Mama to go to the mosque,s

chalet. Somehow, the committee organise this small staff day

Nana n I didnt wanna come but we did, coz Mama said she paid for our share

of food already. (without asking me first!)

So I brought books in an attempt to study

My attempt to study.Haha. I did ok!

Nana was distracting me..Look wad she drew!

The chalet wasnt all that boring (to the Staffs) coz they have

games. which to me are lame.

So we came down once in awhile to get food or just to unwind

I'm totally freaking out. I was told that if I fail one module

I would need to repeat the module in the following week.

And lets say (selisih malaikat 44) I fail one module,

i have to take a total of 5 modules next academic year

Why do i mention Econs? Coz I didnt have basic A'level economics

which I regret not taking it. No point regretting now.

I was adviced to look through past year questions n reports

And I dont get their language.

Its so complicated comparing to tutorial questions

And if i fail econs, it will be a disgrace

coz my course stats BSc in Mathematics and Economics

Another concern of mine is Banking n Finance

Less calculations, which is my strength.

I can glide through bond calculations but my concept is still weak

And I have problems memorising the empirical evidence.Ugh!

Statistics is not bad. Maths also. But the problem is that

scientific calculators are not allowed.

So i have to use the cheapo calculator without any backspace!

Ugh! how to pass ni macam!

Anyways im here to updat my weekends.
Last Saturday went to Johor with the fam to catch a Malay movie. SENARIO
But then we discover that it was only shown once for the whole day. Rabak.
So we ended up watching NEW MOON

Someone told me I'm obsessed with KPop n the Korean World (of hot guys.LOL)
I wouldnt use the term obsessed, rather Im still new into this thing.

My first encounter was with the amazing Rain.
His song Sad tango caught my attention.
He is one of the many great dancers i ever came across and he
is now a producer of his own company.
He debuted this new band called MBLAQ.
their first single is Oh Yeah! which has a very addictive tune.

Then somehow it stopped until I came across BOYS OVER FLOWERS
My colleagues showed me the picture n i was like
"who is this curly hair guy (Gu JunPyo)"
But curiosity got the best of me so i decided to watch it for myself
on youtube.
I got addicted by it and decided to buy the dvd (upon the support
of my own boifey, heh)
Theres where i fell in love with Yun Jihu,
or KIM HYUN JOONG.
I explored SS501 because of that.
I bought mags with their pic on the cover, and me and farna
discovered BIG BANG
Way way earlier this year, Cik Junah recommended Sorry Sorry by
Suju, but wasnt interested coz there were 13 of them
and its so confusing to recognise who is who
I watched their variety shows n talk shows
like Exploration of Human Body, Full House,
Suju come to play and I came to recognise all of them

I really like this Korean culture such that I was tempted to use
the Chan Brother's $900 travel voucher to got to Korea.
And the sad part is I cant (even tho, my bf, my parents n frens
supported me) due to the following:
1) Voucher expires on March
2) because of that, I have to go in february or so. AND
exams starting early march
3) I rather invest in my degree FIRST (yes i know priority)

Korea is not going anywhere right? three years later, its still gonna be there
Boifey even joked "I'll bring u there for honeymoon"
Haha, yah right!
Cik Junah was like"alah, by the time Hyun Joong dah tua"
Haha, firstly, that wasnt my reason to go there.
Coz i noe, even if i go Korea now, he wouldnt be there
Even if he is, what are the odds of running into him
walking alone in ITAEWON?

So my plan is to go after I finish my degree.
Speaking of which, as I mention, my first ever major exam is in
3 months? and its not that long if ur a student who only
goes to sch twice a week lagik! (and that is called fulltime, the irony!)

So i better start studying now that Im free.

Im going karaoke with my ex-colleagues tmr,n go
back on my roots of being malay singaporean.

Sorry abt the prev entry. My mum wanted me n Nana
to get ready to go to Atuk's hse.
Yea he got discharged, but now he will be busy with appointments
n follow ups n stuffs like that.
So just now the adults ask the children (incl me eh thx aku budak kecik!)
to go into the room (and another thx eh only 1 room so i have to join the kids)
coz they need to discuss abt Atuk's appointment
It was me, Nana, little cousins Sarah, Naurah n Aisyah n our little Niece Dayana
At first Kak Mastura (Diyana's Mum) join us, but i think she felt out of place
so she went out.

So the rest of us played..TRUTH OR DARE! via IPOD!haha

when its ok to come out, we look at some albums of old pics

I think Its because, photography sessions were very formal
They were once-in-a-while occassions. everythg is serious n formal.
And also, they have to stay still to get a good photo.
Unlike today, when we can just delete n retake if we dun like
the picture we took.
Back then, film was expensive n cannot be erased.
So i would like to thank the inventor of DIGITAL CAMERA!
No scrap that!

First of all,

Secondly, Finally! A proper updates.
Im updating abt my last weekend.
I noe its a bit late, but better late than never rite??

So last weekend, on a Saturday, family and I waitched 2012!
AWESOME! even though I watch it already, we still went on with the plan
We watched it at Vivo!

Lil sis n me.
We were camwhoring due to boredom
We reached Vivo at ard 5.45pm, still have the cheek to
have the intention of watching the 6.15 show.
We were oh so wrong! By the time we reach GV Vivo,
the tickets are selling fast
Mama: Bagus sgt ke criter die? (Is the movie that good?)
Oh mama, u are so naive sometimes. Haha. Pardon me.
the 6.15 show only had individual seats for the four of us
So we took the 8.15pm show. front row somemore!

So meanwhile we went to DAISO and
had our dinner at Banquet at Harbourfront
We didnt noe it shifted one unit down, so we were abt to enter
this foodcourt which we thought is Banquet.
Dad open the door then this apek was like
"This one not HALA lei"
I was like..uncle, u mean HALALLLLL with the L behind
LOL!!
then we look inside, oh ya! we thought.
I was really thankful that a non-muslim was making sure
we are following the rules of ISLAM

Yesterday I visited my one n only atok at SGH
Yes my one n only.
My paternal Atok. Shaik Abdullah Fraij
I only get to see my grandads, my mom's side n my dad's side.
My grandma both passed on even before I was big enuff to understand
the world. or maybe, even before I came into this world
Unfortunately, when i was in my primary sch, My maternal grandpa left us.

My atok, or we call Tuk Neng, dun ask me why, hahas
He fell in the toilet
No use blaming anyone. I couldnt be bothered with the blaming
stuffs. But I wun rest if anythg happen to my atok

Fortunately he can still smile. :)
